The inlingua School of Languages Singapore jointly organised a virtual speech contest (the "inlingua iSpeak Virtual Speech Contest") with C Win in May, 2023. 9 Year 1 students from the Tianchang High School International Department participated in the Contest.
Shen Zongyuan won the second prize, Zhang Shulu, Zheng Linzi, Chen Maoyang and Jiang Yuxin won the third prize. The award ceremony was held on 19th June. Foreign teachers Sofia and Spha, presented the certificates to all students and awarded prizes to the winners.
The Speech Contest not only helped improve the English competencies of the students, but also helped the students gain exposure to such events and competitions at the international level, and broaden the students’ horizons.
2023年5月，新加坡华盛教育中心与新加坡英林阁语言学校（Inlingua School of Languages）共同举办"inlingua iSpeak Virtual Speech Contest"（英林阁ispeak线上演讲比赛），此次演讲比赛面向天长中学高一年级国际部，由于学生参赛积极性比较高，在国际班外教Sofia的指导下，通过层层选拔，刘凯瑞，郑琳子，王浩然，徐志侣，薛松，沈宗源，陈茂阳，江玉鑫，张树芋 9名同学脱颖而出，最终，经过同学们的认真准备都取得了良好的成绩。其中，沈宗源同学获得了二等奖，张树芋，郑琳子，陈茂阳，江玉鑫获得了三等奖。新加坡华盛教育中心外教Sofia和Spha为所有同学颁发了证书，为获奖者颁发了奖金。
此次英语演讲比赛不仅提高了学生的英语能力，使学生接触到国际层面的活动和比赛，更加开阔了学生的视野。
