On the afternoon of May 9, 2014, the Third Annual English Speech Contest sponsored and organised by the international department @ Wuwei No. 1 High School was held as scheduled at the New Campus.
The contest started with a passionate English song. Mr. Zhou Ji, the vice principal, addressed the opening ceremony and announced the beginning of the contest. The contestants all burst with passion, and showed off their speech capabilities without reservation.
This contest has got high praise from the school leaders and students. It not only revealed students’ talent, but also provided a good platform for them to better understand their potentials, and further enhanced their independence.
Xiaxin, from Class 23, Grade One won the first prize of the contest.
