On the afternoon of April 19th, the annual IEP English speech contest @ Lu'An No.1 High school was held in the school academic lecture hall. CWin Chairlady Mdm Yap Chik Ping, Director Dr. Wang Shih Ching, Operations Manager Mr. Tao Jinqiu, school leaders, IEP form teachers, English teachers, parents' representatives and students - a total of more than 200 people attended the speech contest.
The speech contest is divided into two parts: "speech" and "impromptu answer".
The event was also interspersed with instrumental performance, dance and other talent performances composed and performed by teachers and students of the IEP, which made the whole speech contest more lively and colorful.
After competition, Chen Yuyang from class 24 won the first prize, Wang Zinan from class 25 won the second prize, and Yuan Rui from class 26 won the third prize. Trophies and certificates are given to the winners.
At the end of the speech, Dr. Wang made wonderful closing comments of the speech contest. He was impressed by the excellent performance of the contestants.
