On the afternoon of May 11, International Department @ Tianchang High School ran the 2013 English speech contest at the lecture hall of the school. 18 contestants from Year 1 level took part in the competition.
The contest began after the school principal, Madam Tao gave her opening remarks. During the oratorical presentations, each contestant displayed their individual expressive styles. For instance, a contestant improvised her favorite song—《Baby》from Justin Bieber, which successfully caught the attention from both the judges and the audience. That showed the contestant was full of enthusiasm and vigor as well.
At the end of the contest, CWin Director Mr. Wang gave the closing remarks. The guests gave applause to the contestants and presented certificates, trophies to the winners.
This contest not only provided the students with a nice stage to express themselves, but also enriched their high school experiences.
