On 21st April 2015, through the introduction of CWin, and accompanied by CWin Director Dr. Wang Shih Ching, and manager Mr. Tao Jinqiu, representatives from the Malaysian Southern University College, president Dr. Thock Kiah Wah and Head of Student Recruitment Mr Heng Hua Teck visited Tianchang High School. They were warmly received by the school's principal, Mr. Li Shanlin, along with the school administration.
Southern University College (SUC), previously known as Southern College, was established in the 1990, and was the first non-profit higher education institute in Malaysia.
During the exchange, Dr. Thock talked about the history, forming of and characteristics of SUC, while principal Mr. Li and his team introduced TC High School and shared their concept of educational administration. Following that, the school administration led the guests on a tour around the school compound, and the school history museum.
A seminar for the IEP students, hosted by Dr. Wang, was held in the afternoon, and the SUC representatives presented the University and it's programmes, with the highly-motivated students asking questions at the end.
Both institutions were very satisfied with this first exchange, and promised deeper collaborative efforts in the near future.
