Our Philosophy

The manner in which we pursue our programmes is based on two key premises:

i.        Quality Control

English Learning has to be taught by those who knows how to teach that language. Although native speakers are at an advantage insofar as English could be their ^Native ̄ language, they need to operationalise a teaching methodology that is suitable for the local context (for us, it would be China). They also need to understand the cultural differences that separate Chinese from those of the English speaking world.

C Win will concentrate on quality control.

We implement a series of measures to control quality. The first is in the recruitment of qualified teachers. We source from all over the world and only those that satisfy us in terms of professional competency would be selected in the first round. They also have to be ^suitable ̄ in terms of adaptation and understanding of the students¨ cultural values. This attitudinal adaptation is very important as to ensure students in the class will understand and readily respond to the learning process.

Our second stage of quality control comes in our regular assessment of the teachers¨ performance. Our management will carry out regular monitoring and discussion with the teachers.

Third, we also intend to frequently update our teachers. Our Academic Advisory board members are professionals in the teaching of English language. They will conduct workshops and distribute newsletters to update the teachers. New but relevant developments in the teaching of English will be made available to them.

ii.       Language Learning is Enjoyable

C Win believe that learning of English ca be enjoyable to all the participants. This means the process of teaching language has to be designed in only the most appropriate way to excite the imagination of the participants. In our belief, students need not look to language learning with dismay or be worried by how much ^recitation ̄ they should do. They should look to learning the English language with fun and be excited to explore even by themselves (or with others as part of project groups) further ways to improve their language.

Our teaching method has to reflect a high degree of sensitivity. The teaching materials are selected with extreme care to induce enjoyment among the students.
